This event occurs in the past The Manayunk business district kicks off the 2013 Valentine’s Day Weekend with the return of the only extreme ice carving invitational in the region! Shrug off the winter blues and join us for three days of live carvings and winter fun for the whole family at Manayunk On Ice. The frozen love-inspired weekend will begin with ice being set ablaze at the opening Ice Bonfire. Then, throughout the weekend master ice carvers will carve large ice sculptures live on Main Street, Fear No Ice will perform a theatrical ice carving show for visitors, and ice carving battles will put two ice carvers up against each other to battle it out for the best ice sculpture carved in just a few minutes!
