“[Benedetti] has fingers, sense and panache.” -National Review

Conductor Kazem Abdullah begins his PSO concert debut with Brahms’ furiously brooding Tragic Overture. Hindemith’s Mathis der Maler is arguably the German composer’s most famous orchestral work and is based on music from his opera of the same name. Young Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti’s recent recording of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto is highly praised in the classical music world. Hear Benedetti perform Tchaikovsky’s incredible Violin Concerto live!
