This event occurs in the past Come celebrate the return of spring -a time for renewal, new growth and a long awaited winter thaw. Head to Manayunk for a Vernal Equinox Fire and storytelling evening on the canal. Observe the length of the day begin to overtake the night as you gaze into our traditional floating fires. Be there at 7:00 PM as we light the floating fires that will kick off the storytelling sessions. Local storytellers Brian Schultz and Dennis Strain will be highlighting stories that all ages will enjoy, ranging from animal tales to Irish myths. This is a FREE family friendly event.
