Throughout the ages and across cultures, prayer through song and simple body movement has been a powerful vehicle for connecting with the Divine. In addition to offering the increasingly popular kirtan (high-energy call-and response chanting from the Hindu/yoga tradition), ONE LOVE weaves together ancient and contemporary chants from many spiritual traditions and cultures, including Sufi zikr, earth-based religions, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, and moreā€”an uplifting and participatory musical celebration of global prayer!

The Ithaca, NY-based bandfeatures Jyoti on guitar and vocals, Nataraj (Doug Shire) on keyboard and harmonium, Shakti Moksha on vocals and percussion, and Joe Smellow on percussion and an array of flutes, harmonica, pan pipes, didgeridoo, and more. In addition, the band is often joined by guest musicians and singers from areas where they tour. One Love combines beautiful vocal harmonies with infectious energy. Their performances are highly interactive, educational, and transformational.
