This event occurs in the past As a national occasion sponsored by a corporate giant (American Express), Small Business Saturday began in 2010 to help small businesses get more exposure during the biggest shopping weekend of the year. This event was practically made for Manayunk, a neighborhood where almost all of the businesses are owner-operated. On Small Business Saturday enjoy a unique shopping experience in Manayunk complete with discounts, special events, promotions and giveaways at Manayunk retailers.
