Come celebrate the winter season in Manayunk! On Friday, December 19th at sunset, join the party as we enjoy a birds of prey show, winter dances, a trio of holiday tales, free hot cocoa, and our traditional wishing stick ceremony. This is a FREE, family-friendly event.

The event will kick off at 5:00 pm with the birds of prey show. Let us know that you'll be coming and we will set aside a wishing stick for you!

Schedule of events:
5:00 pm - Live birds of prey show with Brent Baker of Great Valley Nature Center. Meet and greet a barred owl, peregrine falcon, and some other feathered guests.
5:30 pm - Two dances to holiday classics, performed by students from Merge Dance Studio.
5:40 pm - Three holiday tales with storyteller Dennis Strain. Free hot cocoa offered courtesy of Volo Coffeehouse.
6:10 pm - Wishing stick ceremony with Jane Lipton of Manayunk Development Corporation. Watch the fires with seasonal accompanying music.
