This event occurs in the past Welcome to the 5280 Race Series, a mile-long road race series launched by Pattison Sports Group, benefitting the Healthy Kids Running Series. From competitive racers to recreational youth runners, the 5280 Series is designed for the whole family and honors the tradition and history of the American Mile race. Course: It’s a 1-mile race beginning on Main Street just East of Shurs Lane. Runners begin heading East towards Green Lane. Just before Green Lane, runners make a U-Turn and head back down Main Street to Lock Street where they will turn right for the finish on Venice Island! The Race finishes into the PLAY Manayunk Festival. Prizes: $250 for Overall Male, $250 for Overall Female, Top Three (3) in each Division will win Prizes. First 500 Participants will receive a free tech racing shirt for participating!
