The Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby & Arts Festival is two events rolled into one, established to draw residents and visitors into the burgeoning Frankford Avenue Arts Corridor and foster neighborhood revitalization.

The kinetic sculpture derby is a design competition and parade of human powered vehicle floats striving for either Best Art, Best Costume, Best Engineering, People’s Choice, Best Breakdown or the highly coveted Judge’s Choice Award.

The arts festival on Trenton Avenue & Norris Street, consists of 200+ local arts and food truck vendors, along with live arts demonstrations and performances.
