Learn how to make bone broth from scratch at home with Chef Tyler Akin from Stock restaurant in Fishtown. Watch as Tyler demonstrates the bone-broth process from start to finish and how to make all of the elements of pho at home. Struggle no more with your rice noodles!

We’ll discuss the versatility of broths and the many dishes you can make once you have the basics. You’ll get the chance to ask questions, get troubleshooting tips and learn how to take your broths to the next level. Everyone will get to build and enjoy a bowl of Pho at the workshop.

We will be making meat bone based pho and broth, we will not be making vegetarian broths. We recommend bringing a notebook.

Stock was recently featured in Craig Laban’s Philadelphia Inquirer article, “Finding the Best Pho in Philly”. Chef Akin was previously sous chef at the reknown Zahav restaurant in old city and worked in Washington DC at Komi and Little Serow.
