Succulent Propagation & Container Design Workshop

This event occurs in the past Join Greensgrow’s Farm Manager David for this hands-on workshop. We’ll show you how to propagate succulents and we’ll all design and create our own succulent containers to enjoy at home. Propagating succulents is a very easy and economical way to get started with succulents at home or expand your existing collection. You can start several new plants from the leaves or cuttings of just one plant. You’ll learn to care and maintain them through the propagation process as they grow into a whole new plant! Succulent containers make great table decorations, require little maintenance and are a nice way to garden inside. David will create a succulent container design from start to finish and discuss the importance of using the proper soil and watering techniques. Then we’ll help you design and build your own containers to take home. The corrugated 8″ x 4″ container and soil are included, starter plants will be available for purchase. You’ll get instructions for propagation and proper care to take home too. Bring pruners, gloves and an old fork if you’ve got them!
