New Trail Signage for the Wissahickon

For the last three years we have been working to create a new signage and wayfinding system for the 53 miles of 'upper trails' in Wissahickon Valley Park. Join FOW's Project Manager Henry Stroud for a presentation of the new trail signage you can expect to see installed in the coming months throughout Wissahickon Valley Park.

This new signage system will include new trailhead kiosks, trail markers at designated trail intersections and trailheads, trail blazes located along trail corridors and restored signs on Forbidden Drive. Signs will begin to crop up in the Wissahickon this Spring, with the full system to be installed by early June.

This meeting is free and open to the public. Registration is recommended as seating is limited. Complimentary wine and cheese reception offered. Presented by Friends of the Wissahickon.
