Friends of the Wissahickon and the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy are hosting a bike ride and hike along Forbidden Drive on Sunday, July 19 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The four-mile ride and hike will promote watershed health and will include watershed games and activities to educate participants about the Wissahickon watershed and the Circuit regional trail network.

The cycling route will begin at the Wissahickon Transportation Center and will continue along Forbidden Drive with the distance and pace to be set by the group. The ride will include educational games designed to educate participants about stormwater, stream life and native plants that live in and around the Wissahickon Creek.
